Fietsen werden gebracht en weer opgehaald. High end fietsen inclusief extra batterij en daarnaast zadeltasje waar binnenbandje etc in zit. Echt top. Thx Brad.

The bike was exactly as described and it was set up perfectly to fit me. Drop off and pick up was quick and efficient. Brad provided me with routes that took me through rolling country hills, up a mountain, to the beaches, through tiny towns, to delightful cafes and, most importantly, away from heavy traffic. Recommendations for coffee shops and restaurants in the area were always available.  Brad quickly adjusted my ride options on my last day after I decided I wanted more of a challenge. Being a solo ride I felt safe knowing that the bike was is exceptional working order, the routes were safe to ride and that Brad was only a WhatsApp message away if needed.  Velo Algarve is a cycling concierge service at its best.  A superb experience on a beautiful bike amongst breathtaking scenery.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Six days of riding out of Lagos and it worked perfectly. The town is a good place to be based, you are out on quiet roads very quickly and you can go coastal or inland depending on the day.

Brad's local knowledge made the trip. He asked what kind of riding we wanted before we arrived and gave us routes we would never have found ourselves. A few of the restaurants he recommended were excellent as well.

The bikes arrived at our villa already adjusted to our specifications. We test rode them and made a few small adjustments on the spot, and they were collected from the door at the end. Communication over WhatsApp throughout was quick and easy. Highly recommended.

Brad was great from the very first contact. Communication was easy and clear, and the bike was ready and set up perfectly when I arrived.
The Cervélo Soloist was in excellent condition and an absolute pleasure to ride. The setup was spot on and the SRAM shifting worked flawlessly.

I did some fantastic rides in the Algarve over those days, including some pretty challenging climbs. I normally ride a Cervélo S5 myself, so I was curious how the Soloist would compare. It definitely didn’t disappoint. It felt fast, comfortable and very responsive, and I really enjoyed every kilometre.

Brad was also very flexible and helpful with the pickup and return, which made everything really easy.

If you’re looking to rent a proper road bike in the Algarve, I can definitely recommend Velo Algarve and Brad. Great bike, great service and a very personal and relaxed approach.

I’ll definitely be coming back to Brad and Velo Algarve on my next visit to the Algarve.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m really fussy when it comes to the bike I ride, so I was really impressed with Velo Algarve. The bike was absolutely top notch. It was clearly new, very well looked after and everything worked perfectly.

The whole service was excellent from start to finish. Even though I provided my basic bike fit measurements in advance, Brad personally fine-tuned everything when he dropped the bike off to make sure it was completely dialled in. As a keen cyclist himself, he really cared about getting all the finer details right. The concierge service was excellent and everything was taken care of, from extra equipment hire to curated route suggestions including GPX downloads. This was particularly helpful given I wasn’t familiar with the area.

It just took all the stress out of hiring a bike while on holiday, which meant I could just get on with enjoying the cycling. I’ll definitely be using Velo Algarve again!
